OBRA Junior track camp is canceled for 2020
This camp is open to any junior racer and will be great for novice and experienced track riders alike. It will also be a great opportunity to meet other juniors from throughout the state.
Registration: https://industry.obra.org/product/track-camp/
What?
Alpenrose Velodrome Track Clinic on Thursday through Saturday and Racing on Thursday and Friday night.
Lumberyard Indoor Bike Park Skills session and pizza party Saturday night (each camper must have a parent or guardian fill out a Lumberyard waiver here)
Camping at Alpenrose!
For riders 13-18 years of age. Riders 10-12 years old are able to participate in the camp sessions and meals, but will not be able to participate in the overnight camping. Thank you for your understanding.
Who?
Riders: Any junior rider that has an OBRA license
Experience: No previous track experience is needed but you should be able to ride a bike for an hour at a moderate pace and have some previous mountain bike, road, or cyclocross experience.
Coaches: OBRA track coaches, including coaches from many of our junior programs
Why?
This trip will challenge you as a cyclist and open your eyes to new riding types you may not have done before.
You’ll learn from some great coaches and ride with other kids from OR and WA teams.
You’ll get a chance to step outside your comfort zones and push yourselves physically and mentally through a series of awesome adventures.
Lots of off-the-bike time with other juniors to socialize and have fun
